Educational TV Shows, Good or bad?

You’re sitting on the couch, watching your show, when your mom calls you from the living room, telling you to get off the TV. You want to protest that it’s educational, but you hold yourself back. It is a TV show, isn’t it?

So, are Educational TV shows good or bad for you? There are many different viewpoints on this matter. Some people think that yes, they are good for you, while other’s believe the opposite. In this article, I will explain the pros and cons of Educational TV.

One school of thought on this topic is that Educational TV shows are good for you. These TV shows often contain many facts and information. I, myself watched many of these shows when I was younger, and have learned a lot from them. These shows often prove the facts they state, creating a deeper understanding.

Although some people have reasons against these TV shows, they could be incorrect. For example, people might worry about too much opinion on a show. The producers of educational TV shows often pick the most popular scientific opinion, so there’s nothing to worry about. So, will you vote team yes?

A different school of thought on this matter is that educational TV shows are bad for you. For one, people don’t need more screen time when they could just read a book. Screens can rot your brain and we get enough screen time without TV. Also, people could be opinionated and completely leave out good or bad details. We need all the facts!

Although some people believe that educational TV shows are good for you, there is evidence proving otherwise. many people love educational TV shows for a core fact of the numerous information. Before TV was created, you would have to read a book. There is no reason why we can’t do that now. So, will you vote team no?

Now you see the two main viewpoints about educational TV. I personally believe in a good mix of TV and books for learning about something. So who will win this war? We probably will never know.
